Hi Chrille,
the box on the left and the one in the middle are both a "Vorschaltgerät"
So the box on the left goes with the lamp on the right.
There are differend kinds of 32269-3, the regular one have the ventilation holes, but I´ve seen one or two without them.
The 32269-3 isn´t a lamp, the bulb in it only glows.

Hello! Many thanks for your reply, so the fact is the 2 Vorsschaltgerät was with or without holes, but always with a lightbulb inside but not for light but to transform the electricity to the cigarformed UV lamp; FL 32269-1 , so too rebuild this I have to have 1 Vorschaltg to every UV lamp.

You´re right. The UV-bulb FL.32269-1 is a mercury vapour lamp, so the power has to be regulated.
Otherwise the bulb would, once ignitioned, increase the power consumption. Finaly, after a time the bulb would self-immolate.
So every UV-Bulb 32269-1 needs her own Vorschaltgerät 32269-3. For electrical wiring, check your reference on paticular airfrane wiring diagram

Now in the cockpåit where these boxes attached very close to the UV lamps or where they hidden under something since I have never seen them in BW pics.

Under standard conditions they should be grouped , say all Vorschaltgeräte side by side.
In Me 109 K both are locad just behind the fusebox on top of the right sidewall.
He219 had three UV lamps and all 3 Vorschaltgeräte are located at the uppre right sidewall of the aft, radio operator, cockpit

Viceroy is wrong in his statement about He 219 ! The preserved He 219 in USA has four
UV lamps, and correspondingly is equipped with 4 Vorschaltgeräte, which are located on the
upper right sidewall of the [b]front[b) (pilots) cockpit!
