perhaps it could have been an earlier version of the Bf109? I guess the diagrams were the same for all?

No, its not Fw 190 as long as Series A -1, and (supposedly) A-2 to A-4 are concerned.
Here the Revi is P 5.
In subtype/subseries Ta 152 H-0/ H-1 Revi is designated P 8 !

OK, well, if it is not Bf 109 or Fw 190, there are not so many possibilities. As the 12D is an early gunsight, we can eliminate all the late war aircrafts which were supposed to have either the 16B or EZ42...

If someone finds the weapon code for the Bf 110, Ju 88, and Ju 87, it is probably one of these aircrafts

The hunt goes on :-)

well, we're not sure it's not for the Bf109 yet. It could be the code for a late E or a F?

I've seen a lot of Revi C12 with the black cushion, those were normally used on Stukas as far as I know, especially the ones with the quick release red handle?

Late Bf110s (G series) seem to be P15

on page 19 of this manual there's a picture that shows a Revi C12/D with a P16 near the attachment, it's from the FW190A6, could this be the one?

Hi,
this seems to be it !!! Its the only manual I found , where this P 16 is mentioned.
With A 8 R2 it is P13, with A 7 R2 it is P 11(!) and with D 9 it is also P 11, which puzzels
me, because with Masserschmitt Bf 109 F 1 / F 2/ F4 / G 5/ G 6/ G 6 U4 it is also P 11 !

For dismantling your C 12: look at the underseide, you will see 10 screwheads, identifie
the 3 which are bigger than the 7 other, loosen them and take them out, open the lid,
and now you can pull out the whole contraption, e.g. bulb, bulbholder and rheostat !!
But be careful and slow (no force!) tere is not much room, it is really narrow!
When you got it out, you can dismantle it further.

Good luck Hermann

Hello,
I found out one information more: We can also exclude the 109 E:
Here P16 is something different (a plug used to connect the attachable shooting camera on top of the left wing).
It seems, the Revi 12 hasn't have any designation at all in the Emil; only the socket carried P13.

yes, the P-number on the Revi would normally refer either to a plug or to the gunsight itself, but since they're connected by means of a plug, it's the same thing.

It would be nice if anybody could find the electrical wiring for the FW190A-5 or 6 to confirm the picture above.

Hello AlexTheRoman,
yes, I have the whole documentation for the A-5/6 (Handbuch Fw 190 A-5, A-6 HB Teil 09B-A5-B-Anhang and Fw 190 A-5, A-6 HB Teil 09B-A6-B-Anhang)
They are part of the documentation for the 190 you can get from there: http://www.luftfahrt-archiv-hafner.de/.
